Thanks for your Question

Hi, and thank you for your question (or comment).

I love helping people with their AV issues. I get a real sense of satisfaction from working with people from all around the world to solve their connection problems.

Please Note: During the Covid-19 crisis I’m very busy with a number of streaming projects, and have very limited time to attend to this website. I’m currently over a week behind in answering questions and may not get to them in a hurry. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Obviously the more info you tell me the more specific the answer I can give you. Often I have to email people to clarify their situation or to get the exact model numbers of the equipment they are trying to connect (where possible I try to download the manuals so I can give you a precise answer). So, to best answer you, can you please:

  • Add another comment below with more details if you don’t think you gave enough specifics, and
  • If you don’t hear from me, please check the email address you supplied, and check your junk mail for an email from Geoffs@geoffthegreygeek.com with the subject “Your web question“.

I normally to assign time to answer questions at least twice a week, depending on work and family commitments. Please be patient if I take a few days to get back to you. I’ll try to email you when I’ve given my initial answer to your question on the web page.

As I’m spending my time to help you, can I ask you to take a few seconds to help me? Can you please promote this web site on Facebook, twitter or other form of social media – thanks.

One way I get a little (very little) income for the many hours I spend on this website, is to get a small commission from Amazon. So if you need any equipment to solve your problem, and Amazon have it at the right price, can I ask you click on my Amazon link at the right of each page to go to Amazon. Once there, if you buy anything, I’ll get a small cut from them.

If you are one of those warped people (like me) who like to understand how these things work, I encourage you to sign up to my newsletter (also to the right). The theory is I will send occasional newsletters detailing my latest articles etc. – to date I have sent 1 newsletter, so I can assure you I will not be flooding your inbox. However I hope to soon start writing some e-books on a couple of the hot topics, and intend to offer a free trial to my subscribers – on the promise that you will tell me how to make it better.GS 300sq

Again, thanks for your question, and I look forward to working with you in solving your problem.
